Fill the emerald lantern with lamp oil
To fill the emerald lantern with lamp oil, you will first need to obtain an emerald lens and a bullseye lantern (unf). You can get the emerald lens from the cabin boy, who can be found slightly north-west of the Lunar Isle bank.
Once you have the emerald lens and the bullseye lantern, combine them to create the emerald lantern. At this point, the game may prompt you with a dialogue box stating, "You'll need to add some oil before you can light it." This is where you will need to find lamp oil and a tinderbox. The lamp oil can be found on the ship, and the tinderbox is already in your inventory.
Use the emerald lantern on the lamp oil still to fill it with lamp oil. Now that your emerald lantern is filled with lamp oil, you can light it with your tinderbox. Please note that lighting the lantern requires a Firemaking level of 49.

To find the lunar ore and smelt it at a furnace, you must first complete the Lunar Diplomacy quest in Old School RuneScape. This involves embarking on a journey to the Lunar Isle region, home of the Moonclan, and a new location with a unique style and people.

Make a lunar helmet at a regular anvil
To make a lunar helmet at a regular anvil, you must first have a lunar bar. To get a lunar bar, you need to mine a lunar ore from stalagmites found in the cave at the northeastern end of Lunar Isle. Once you have the lunar ore, you need to use it on a furnace to smith it into a lunar bar.
Now that you have the lunar bar, use it on a regular anvil while you have a hammer to create the lunar helm. This will grant you 25 Smithing experience. You need 65 Magic and 40 Defence to wear the lunar helm.
