Find the USS Constitution ship in the Commonwealth
To find the USS Constitution ship in the Commonwealth, follow these steps:
First, head towards the ship's location. You will encounter a character known as the Lookout, who will scan you and request that you meet with Captain Ironsides.
Next, you need to find a way to access the ship. The hatch to enter the ship is located inside a hole in the forward section of the ship, near its bow.
Once inside, you will be accosted by the First Mate, but Captain Ironsides will intervene and pacify them.

To help Captain Ironsides and his crew defend the USS Constitution, players must first complete a series of tasks and side quests.
Firstly, players must head to the ship's location, which is east of Bunker Hill in Boston. Here, they will meet a robot named Lookout, who will ask them to board the ship and meet Captain Ironsides. After a conversation with the captain, the scavengers will attack, and players must help defend the ship. Players can set traps, fire cannons, attack from the deck, or use a rowboat to fight off the enemies.
Before the attack, players can also complete a series of side quests to strengthen the ship's defences. This includes repairing the power by fixing three power cable locations or using technical knowledge (INT 3+). If players have a high INT or Repair perk, they can repair the wiring without the need for cables. Retrieve the bearings and install them
The Last Voyage of the U.S.S. Constitution is a side quest in Fallout 4. The Sole Survivor is drafted by Captain Ironsides to help him and his robot crew relaunch the derelict ship into the ocean.
To retrieve the bearings, the player must first acquire the guidance chip. This can be done by either agreeing to help Mandy Stiles and stealing the chip, or by killing the scavengers and stealing the chip from the cabinet in the left-hand office. Once the chip is acquired, the player must return to the Constitution's main deck and install the chip into the core guidance system.
After installing the chip, the player must then decide whether to repair the guidance radar or retrieve the Poseidon Radar Transmitter and install it. If the player chooses to repair the radar, they must speak with Mr. Navigator, who will provide instructions to retrieve and install the FLL3 turbopump bearings in the captain's quarters. The bearings can be found at specific locations, including the Corvega assembly plant, Fort Hagen, and the General Atomics factory.
With the bearings in hand, the player must then return to the USS Constitution and install them. Flip the circuit breaker to launch the ship
To complete the "Last Voyage of the U.S.S. Constitution" quest in Fallout 4, you must first retrieve the bearings and install them at the turbopump in the captain's quarters on the second deck of the USS Constitution. Complete the Navigator's objectives
To complete the Navigators objectives, you must first obtain the guidance chip. You can either steal the chip from the scavengers or kill them for it. If your sneak skill is high enough, you can steal the chip without being detected. Alternatively, you can agree to help the scavengers and they will give you the chip. However, this will cause Nick Valentine to disapprove.
Once you have the chip, return to the USS Constitution and install it in the core guidance system near the radar dish. The Navigator will then ask you to locate a replacement Poseidon radar transmitter at Poseidon Energy turbine. You can either find the transmitter or fix it yourself if your Intelligence stat is 9 or above.
After retrieving the transmitter, return to the ship and install it to complete the Navigator's objectives.
